For example, take a look at a sea urchin and you will notice a symmetrical design that is nearly perfect and always beautiful.  The fiddlehead fern has a whimsical design that invites you to touch its feathery curlicues.  I could go on an on, but it all comes down to this, nature is an awesome artist.
I have been a doodler ever since I could hold a crayon between my thumb and pointer finger.  Not much has changed in my adult years except that I now turn my scribbles and squiggles into something more functional.  And while inspiration may come from many sources, nature influences me the greatest.
